what could be causing <p></p> not to work in my auction watch descriptions all of a sudden? Please advise.

There is no such command as </p> - you don't close a paragraph command, like you don't close a <br> command.

The </p> closing paragraph tag is optional, but perfectly legal.

You might want to cross-reference this with

http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/read.html?num=15&thread=63784

The engineers must have done something with their parser... (Where's Scottie when you really need him?)

Thanks to all who answered....must have been an auctionwatch glitch; now all my auctions are spaced correctly again...a big WHEW!!!...don't have to correct all my pending auctions.

my WHEW didn't last long and i still have problem but look at http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/read.html?num=15&thread=63784 and note that auctionwatch customer support acknowledges they are working on this problem.

All my pending auctions are up and spaced correctly - glad of that.

Paragragh spacer didn't work in auctionwatch preview but once auctions hit ebay the <p> worked.

absolutely wrong.

It is optional but will give a warning with snytax checkers.

If you're going to bother with hand coding html ...don't be lazy.

Unless you are also bestattic I'm getting corn-fused ...

I quoted bestattic, not you.

I'll stand by my statement that anyone who won't close a <p> tag is lazy.

You originally said:

I dunno, It's not your mark-up...

EXCUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE for being bored at work and claiming anyone who won't close a <p> tag is lazy ...
