Hello. Can anyone top this year? Got laid off my full time job, had to close my full time retail store this year. On top of that, running into a ton of non payers this past month! Anyone top that one? 13 years as a retail store and a nice full time job down the tubes. Been on Ebay since 1998 full time also and was doing fine! Sales are still okay but man those non and slow payers! So how is everyone else doing?

I think all the people that watched their loved ones die on CNN on 9/11 got you beat for bad news this year. Try counting your blessings, not what's gone down the tubes.

When God closes a door he opens a window. Watch for your window to open and things will look better. If you have time on your hands and can't find a job, volunteer someplace for a while. Hospitals really need volunteers. The worse thing you can do is stay home and fret. Go out meet people, mingle but never, never stay home and feel sorry for yourself. Get yourself a routine. Up in the morning, shower, shave (if your male) make the rounds of the thrift shops, you never know what you will find. Last week I did that and with the 4 items I found I made over $200.00. I spent $3.75. You can do it. Go for coffee in the morning. I know when you have a positive attitude things look better. Good Luck and keep us posted.

I have had more slow and nonpaying buyers in the last three months than in the last two years combined. And these are just $10 items. And they don't live in the N.Y. area.

Still counting my blessings, though, and happy to be on ebay.
