Anybody tried this option?

Seems expensive.

Anybody driven serious traffic to their eBay auction with them?

Cheers.

Google Adwords is WAY too expensive for the benefits gained. The reason? They charge for IMPRESSIONS instead of actual click-throughs.

Save yourself some money and aggravation by going to http://www.overture.com. You'll get highly targeted CLICK-THROUGHS without having to pay for wasted impressions. You bid on ranking in their search engine. I NEVER bid over 1¢ per keyword with great results. And no, I have no affiliation with them other than being a very satisfied user.

I've tried them for about 3 weeks. I did get more traffic but it only produced 1 additional sale, which didn't cover the expense of the ad.

Yes, I've used it successfully before.

Seems expensive.

Your "keyword" may be too broad then. You might try one that is more specific and you may get better click through rates. Some of my keyboards have been as high as 5% because they were very specific. Its more effective and economical this way.

Why drive it to your auction when you can drive it to your web site where you don't have to pay any Final Value Fees?

Amen. Paying to bring traffic to your ebaY auction does nothing except bring more traffic to ebaY. What's to prevent the customer (that you just paid good money for) from clicking away and bidding on one of your competitor's auctions?

Mr.BusinessMan,

How do you get it for $.01 when they say the minimum bid is $.05?

You're correct. They just raised their minimum bid amount.

Too bad, I would give it a shot for $.01, but not for $.05
Thanks.
