If you want a little power in your reports (pictures of album covers, fuzzy search capability, etc.), you can use a full feature database like Microsoft Access. If all you want to do is keep track of your collection by title and artist, there are 100s of Freeware databases that you can choose from.

I want something that I can just put a CD in my computer, and it can download all the pertinent information from that.
I have close to 400 CD's, so needless to say I don't want to have to type everything in
Thanks for the idea about the cover art though, I hadn't thought of that.

Go to http://hotfiles.com and try a search like "cd catalog". There should be freeware and many shareware programs that will do what you want. If you have a spare computer, I recommend trying out the different ones until you find one you like. Then install that one computer on your main computer.
