I do all my selling without using any auction service that would add additional costs. I would like to hear from others who do the same. I list 50-100 auctions per week with a sell through rate of about 50-60%. My main bottleneck is packing so I generally don't list more that that. Around Christmas I go as high as 700 auctions per week.
I create my auctions on FrontPage Editor and list with Misterlister and Auctionsubmit. I notify my buyers automatically through Paypal. I ask buyers to e-mail their address and I cut and paste these to create mailing labels. I track their response through Outlook (I delete the notice once I hear from the buyer. Until then, it remains in bold in Outlook.) I track payment by leaving feedback. I record all checks and money orders in a spread sheet. I relist using Auctionsubmit.
I would like to hear from anyone who does auction management without software that eats into profits who have additional suggestions.

I normaly run 100+ unique auctions a week without paying for any software. I prepare my auctions in a text document on my desk top and then copy and paste to eBay. I am on AOL so I have 5 diferent email signatures made up for EOA and item sent,ETC.
Like for sending out EOA all I have to do is from the auction click on the winner copy and paste the item title and number into the subject. Then click on the signature file that has all the payment information. I just insert the price and send.
One thing I do to make things easier is use a diferent deptartment number in my address for each item. It really saves a lot of time when payments come in. The only problem I am running into is uploading photos with AOL keeps getting slower. I am thinking of using AuctionWatch for photo hosting only.
