Another common question...but do you think it really matters what day and time you end your auctions?

I generally try to end mine on Sunday or Monday night around 8:00 PM Pacific time (I'm in the Eastern time zone so that's about 11:00-12:00 PM for me).

I know others have auctions that end really, really early in the morning and throughout the day, evening, and night.

Do you think it matters when and what time your auctions close?

I mostly sell low-cost items, but I found I get the best bids on Sunday night at what I call "everybody's home from church" time. I don't know why, but it just happens that way for me. Maybe Friday is too much of a date/romance night? It's anybody's guess.

The best day and time is when bidders are bidding!

For me Fri, Sat, Sun are the pits! Thurs used to be the best but based on the last 6 weeks I think that is changing.

So really, all that matters is the ebay is up and running smoothly!

I also like to post new auctions after my other auctions are 3-5 days old. It seems to bring a surge of new viewers to the older auctions.

I like having my auctions end on different days to spread out the work.

If you list in the categories I list in, the best time to start and end your auctions is 6:00AM EST on Tuesdays.

Sunday night at 9:00 pm has always worked for me =)
