Last summer someone Avaloncourt??? Posted a template for labels to print in Endicia. I lost my template and can't find the link and with the search gone I can't seem to locate it on here (I have gone through old posts for the last hour) Can anyone help me out? It was for the labels six to a sheet.
Thanks,
Chris

It has often been said you cannot print the postage, address and delivery confrimation on the small Priority Mail Address Labels (Label 228 August 2000 and later.) While it is a tight fit it can be done.
I have used this template for several weeks now with no problem. Just click on the link to download the template. Install it and your ready to go.

You wouldn't happen to have screenshots would you? I tried printing the postage, but it ended on the blue section of the label making it very difficult to read the postage amount. The carriers have informed that they have pulled my packages several times thinking it did not have postage.
Fortunately, I was able to acquire a large quantity of the July 1996 version (longer width) so I will probably not run out until September. But after that, it'll be back to my roll of labels. I bought a 10 lbs. roll of labels (for $2.00!) that I have to separate along the perforations, but the dimensions are perfect for USPS Priority.

Your template looks GREAT!
Unfortunatly I am grid and template stupid
I had it set for test print, using the 228 Aug 2000 label, looks good in the grid, but I go to test print it, and I only get half... I get the part of my return address, part of D.C. ALL of the To: address and All of the where the postage goes.... leaving about 2+inches blank of printable space on the label?
I know, its probably really easy to figure out, but I think I fiddled and test printed at least 20 and still get all that blank area with half printed...

NearTheSea,
I am far from an expert on this, but sounds like you may need to make some mminor adjust or something in the printer configuration of Dazzle.

Coonr -- thank you so much! The trick was to have the seller address on the lower left hand corner. Cool... Now I don't have to worry about finding the older labels!

My post office will not accept the label like that. They claim the return address MUST be in the upper left corner of the label.
I had to black out the retrun address and hand write it on 30 packages.
They said I could print it above the TO address but NOT side by side.

Never had anyone at the PO tell me that and I have mailed several hundred. If it is indeed a rule, I would remove the return address. You could always print the return on seperate (the cheapest and small) plain labels.
