I just checked one of my auctions that is closing in a couple of hours. This is for a vintage print that requires the CORRECT measurements. And, low and behold, all the inch marks and quotation marks are now QUESTION MARKS!!! I post my auctions through Auction Watch and this is really making a mess of this higher end auction. Then, I thought "I will add to the auction" and explain it and found that Ebay won't let you add anything if the auction is less that 12 hours. Now, I'm stuck with it. Viewers, must think I'm stupid with a whole auction full of question marks - needed to VENT!

I don't think it has to do with Auctionwatch. Whenever I cut and paste a description from my word processor (MS Works) to Ebay, the " are always changed to ?. I always have to remember to go back and change them.

Thanks docadoodle! Sorry, Auction Watch! I believe I did copy and paste this from Word! It is the last thing I would have thought of! I learn something new every day!

I use " in everyone of my auctions launch via AW and not one of them is a ? . I write my descriotions in Word and copy and paste to AW. I sell clothing and have measurement in inches on every time. NO PROBLEMS here.
I do have problems with AW change 1/2 when word makes it a one spacer. In the title of items AW will change it to a symbol on relist items. I have been wait for AW to fit this problem for well over 6 months. I guess not enough users have the problem so I have to leave with it.
