In the history of eBay, the majority of outages and other problems seem to happen on Sunday. Of course, this is the busiest day of the week for bids and listings.

Do you think eBay schedules technical staff with this in mind? It feels like the reverse is true, that on Sunday there is little competent technical help around, so if something goes wrong it just takes a long time to get it fixed.

Of course, any other business would schedule staff when they are most likely to be needed.

Anyone know if this theory is correct?
