I registered for BillPoint several months ago before the implementation eBay Payments, and have not used it since that time. In the meantime I have changed both my seller ID and my e-mail address.
Having completed an auction, I wanted to pay using 'Point/'Payments but needed to update my credit card expiration date and e-mail address. So far I have been unable to get past the login. I have furnished the appropriate answer to the "secret question" and have even given them my cc number. This done, I get a computer generated response telling me that a temporary password (key) will be sent to my e-mail address. You can probably guess, they're sending it to my old, now dead e-mail address, the one I'm trying to update.
Anyone know if these folks have a phone number I can call to get things back in working order?

What I find works faster is I would just shut down the old account then sign up for a new account with the new info.
You think that an upgrade would be easy, but it never seems to work that way.
Never did find a phone # for them.

I can't shut down the old account because I can't log in. I had thought of this as the best solution, but I can't even get that far.

You should be able to log into Billpoint using your old user id and password. Changing your user id on eBay does not automatically change your Billpoint user id.

I just changed my ebay screen name the other day. It did automatically update my screen name on ebay payments (formerly billpoint)

There is an option on the eBay change user id screen to also change your Billpoint id. It does not automatically change, unless you authorize it.

i recently changed my screenname and it automatically changed my billpoint name it was such a hassle to rectify.
