Just wondering if it is worth the effort to sell items in AuctionWatch stores. Is there very much traffic? The price is right.

dodobird - if your computer is too old, what can auctionwatch do? get a newer computer with a newer web browser.

sandhillcrane - the more your promote your store, the better chance of visitors.

I had an AW store. After 6 months and only sold one item I decided it was not worth it! Some of the items in the store were priced less then the identical item in auctions were selling for.

My people do not like to click on licks and go to strange places.

I gave up on it.

I use Auctionworks....I ask people to check out my storefront before paying so they can combine shipping....so far has worked pretty good.

My storefront has been doing pretty well.
Combined with my WBN the customer can see what all I have to offer. They have not "purchased" directly from the store, but they have been asking about different items they see on the checkout page, and I have been making a few sales directly via e-mail as a result of what they see.

Was taking a look at this again the other day as we have thousands of items that sell from $1-$5 and do not warrent listing on eBay. The question I have is can Paypal be used for CC checkout instead of signing up for the CC merchant account?

Thanks

You can use PayPal with Auctionworks, not sure about the others...
