I don't know if you remember but a few weeks ago I wrote about a customer who's item was lost in the mail. The customer wanted the item no refund etc...
The item was delivered after 40 days and when I wrote to ask him if he did get it he responded with "Yes I did but the condition is not as you described, the vinyl is in poor condition"... I may have taken this to heart, but it was a FACTORY SEALED record... He would like a better copy..
I am sure now that this guy is a lunatic... I asked him if the record was factory sealed...no answer..

Oh gee, you upset his plan. You see you were supposed to ask him to keep the vinyl disc and just send him a new one.
To me, it isn't that this guy is a whacko, as he is just playing the angles. There are a few too many buyers who try this sort of stuff (ask any clothing seller!) and good sellers like you can easily be taken.
When I get the once in a blue moon conniver, I read the feedback, especially the positives, very carefully. If I start to see seller notations like "patient with missing package" I get suspicious.
I sell videos, cds and dvds. I do get reports of defective dvds and pay the postage to have them sent back. I check them over, and if a problem, replace them. Here the customers who send them back have been 95% correct; those that don't send them back have a reason, don't they?
