I am having a problem with over a dozen auctions that ended in March that I have not yet been paid for. Four people have said that they mailed the money orders within days after the auction end. None of them were mailed from the same geographical location, and none of the buyers want to give me the MO number. I told them I wanted both numbers, in case both the original money order and the replacement showed up, I wanted to know which one to cash. Two of the buyers have ignored my request, one just said that the right one would be dated in April and the wrong one in March, and fourth buyer keeps stalling on replacing her supposedly missing money order. She wants to wait just a few more days to see if it will show up so she doesn't have to pay a stop payment fee, then just a few more days, then just a few more days. I decided to put my foot down and file NPB warnings on all of them, and was promptly negged by one of the MO controversy people, claiming she paid and I had not sent her items. So I'm the bad guy for wanting my money? I have another who every time I send her a total and ask for payment, she will bid on another of my auctions, and tell me that she will send payment when all the auctions end. She has done that three times now. I have told her that I cannot hold the first set of auctions any longer and I need payment. She has not responded except to bid on 3 more of my auctions. My TOS says that I expect payment within 10 days. Why is this so much to ask?

Isn't it interesting, usually it's the buyers who are emailing the seller a dozen times "did you get my payment yet?" "Did you send my item yet?" But these buyers are completely calm and relaxed.

This happened to me too, the buyers said they sent payment and I ask for proof, it would have been simple to show anything than to argue back and forth, and they would not even respond to my request. Obvious sign of liers. Honest people would try to get the problem resolved.

Neg them and move on.

I always give 14 days. Then I give a friendly reminder e-mail. If no response to that e-mail within 2 days, then I file NPB alert. That is the last comminication I do. If no payment is received after the 10 wait period, I file for FVF and give a neg. When I do this, I never e-mail the person telling them the deal is off. That just aggrivates them into giving a reltalitory neg. It is better to do it quietly and usually you will be left alone. As far as the person who negged you, you must respond in your feedback section stating the fact that no payment was sent therefore no item was sent. Then neg right back stating that no payment was sent. And call them a DEADBEAT.

If they say that the payment has been sent and 5-7 days later you still have not received it...consider it b.s. They are just stalling. I have yet to see a payment lost to date and that amounts to thousands of payments sent by mail.

for the one who keeps bidding on more of your auctions but sending no payment.

politely inform her that you are going to have to block her from bidding further until payment is received for the auctions she has already won. then block her as a bidder until you have received the payment.

if she is truly a deadbeat, she will be NARU when you file for all the fvfs. 4 is the magic NARU number.
