I am releasing a free alternative to Vrane's feedback analysis tool. You can check out more info on the product at http://www.teamredline.com/gutcheck.
It is generally released 5/1, but email me at [email protected] for an advance copy.
I am looking for input from the eBay community and any suggestions on improvement or features would be welcome.

Unfortunately, this type of software doesn't
allow for totally unfair feedback left by
lunatics. I can honestly say that all of
the Negatives I've received have fallen into
that category. I get e-mail from people
a few times a year telling me that they
won't bid on my items because I have Negative
feedback, even though my overall rating from
eBay/Yahoo/Bidville is 95%+ Positive. I
realize this would probably be used more
by sellers than buyers, and it sounds neat,
but until someone can analyze actual comments
I'll stick to my gut feelings on a per deal
basis. Good luck!

You're right, this software will not take into account the quality/validity of any particular feedback comment.
It's there for you, as a buyer or seller, to perform a quick (excuse the pun) "Gut Check" of a members feedback.
Obviously, software will never be written to perform any sort of "real" filtering or assessment based on subjective criteria.
However, this software will present feedback using a better interface and features such as sorting/filtering. Perhaps, then it might allow a buyer/seller to get a better picture of a member's background.
