I had an email from someone overseas who wants to buy a large quanity of items. Before I take this to my boss,(he will want me to take a credit card but I don't feel comfortable with that)

Who can tell where a customer can buy a international money order (for large quanity) and use his credit card to pay for it?

Thanks

BidPay up to $700

Paypal and billpoint both will work for non auction items

If its more than bidpay limit, then they can buy a international money orders at their post office or they can get a bank draft.

Another way would be for them to do a wire transfer to you.

A few days ago people from this board gave me some advice on taking orders from certain countries. I looked into it and it has persuaded me to be more careful. I want to thank those people who clued me in.

popnrock I have never had any problems with international buyers. Matter of fact percentage speaking I have had more problems with domestic buyers.

"I had an email from someone overseas who wants to buy a large quanity of items." This would raise my eyebrow, though.

your question is -how can an overseas customer use his credit card to buy an intl money order??
bidpay is the only one place i know of and like the others point out ,the limit is 700 dollars, and i believe bidpay may not do business with certain countries.
so what country is your potential customer resides in??
you cannot buy foreign drafts or do intl wire transfer using your cc as a form of payment, not in this country.may be in a foreign country but i doubt it as cc is not as widely used in other countries.
He can either go to his local bank and initiate a wire transfer to your bank,i assume you want to be paid in that mighty green back,so he must have enough fund in his bank account in either local or other currencies/
or he can buy a foreign draft from his local bank in us dollars and mail it to you.
Thnomas cook travel agency is more than a travel agency, they have offices through out the world and you can do wire transfter and buy drafts in their offices, but you have to bring cash .
american express has office through out the world,he could also buy an intl money order there and in this country, amex office requires you to pay with cash.
