Does any one here know where the auction is that a couple has up for a name for their baby? I heard about this today on the news.
Seems the money will go for the childs education...... Talk about odd auctions...{smile}

have you ever checked out "who would buy that?". they have wierd auction listings. last week they had one, the guy was selling nothing and admitted it, he just wanted money to help him become a model. He thought he had the looks but needed the money. In his dreams!!!

I tried "name baby" first also and couldn't find it but the news said it was already listed so I knew it was there somewhere.

I hope they announce what the winning name is but by Feb. everyone may forget about it.

A lot of protesters will be bidding this up outrageously high and then won't pay.

Many eBayers are using old throw-away accounts to have some fun ( OldGeezerBob? ).

If the couple having the auction didn't think all of the pranksters would come out of the woodwork then there are very naive.

It's an eBay tradition to play with auctions that are stupid, like Halloween Night.

Thanks phawthorne1

Many who know me would be ROFL if they read your comment.

But your auction idea sounds like a great one. Maybe do it before someone else does!

Good find, rarriffle
Also out of Florida. Same auction format and much of the same wording. I am thinking it is all one big scam. If so, too bad for the serious bidders who actually think they are helping some kid go through college.
