I've been pleasantly surprised at the bidding yesterday and today. A lot of action. Could be all the folks who have today off are at their computers eBaying.
Or maybe it's because a week or so ago I changed my whole shipping TOS. I had been putting in exact postage for all the options available, whether first class or Priority Mail or whatever.
Now it says: "In the U.S., insured S/H will be $_____." Sure is simple...
I'm using the FedEx rate to Zone 8 rounded up a bit to cover my supplies. I'm in California so most people are a long ways off.
As a bidder, I always look for quoted shipping in the auction. Unless it's something I absolutely cannot live without I generally hit the back button if shipping cost isn't there. Writing the seller for a quote isn't something I have time to do.

This week pretty much sucked. We finished with just over 50% sell through for auctions ending this week. Today we've had several items pick up bids and had 2 BINs.
I don't think the postal rates will make much difference, unless it is a low dollar item.

No bids today, few pageviews, but did get one question from a potential bidder. Of course, this is the midway point for my auctions this week, which is traditionally the most sluggish point anyway.

I've been pleasantly surprised at the hits I've gotten since listing 14 low-end collectibles last night. Lots of looks, and one bid already. I have my fingers crossed.

Had no auctions on since Sunday. Put 8 on last night, had 1 BIN & lots of hits. Put 4 more on tonight. I too have changed my TOS as to shipping. I now ask for Zip Code & give the cost by both Prioriyt Mail & FedEx Ground. The buyer has a choice. I only charge my actual costs.
