IF YOU PAID USING CREDIT CARD....EMPTY YOUR ACCOUNT THEN CHARGE BACK THE CARD FOR NON DELIVERY. IF YOU PAID USING PAYPAL FUNDS THEN YOU ARE AT THE MERCY OF WHAT PAYPAL DECIDES TO DO.

Yes, you may have to wait, but do not count on anything, start the chargeback

Paypal protection does not cover the auctual receiving on the merchandise.

Arording to the terms of use that paypal does not always follow, The cover the shipment of the goods.

If the person can prove they shipped the item to you, Paypal is supposed to protect the seller.

If the seller has online tracking that says they shipped you something, you lose.

Now you can chargeback from your credit card but Paypal will not like that and may freeze your account.

Becuase if you do a chargeback for merchandise not recived and paypal sellers protection only covers protecting sellers from claims of non-shipping, they chargeback will go thru and you should win.

If you paid by e-check or paypal funds, then yes, as you put it, you are screwed. The buyers complaint is for when the seller does not ship the items. It does not cover items lost in the mail or not making it to you.

Good luck.

deivery confirmation to me doesnt prove a thing. all it shows is that it made it to the local post office in teh city you mailed it. doesnt prove it actually got delivered.

What kind of people are on this thread if the seller has delivery confirmation it should show the date it was scaned into the post office and the date it was delivered. sometimes the post office don't do their job and scan the item thru. If I were you I would go to your local post office and see if the item is there in the dead letter file. I have had this happen to me as a seller and as a regular customer for a package my sister sent me. Don't be so quick to blame the seller. He ship the item now get on the post office. If your local postoffice won't help you contact the postal inspector. Get a life quit crying and trying to get something for nothing. I know you paid But you have to look at the other side to the seller shipped. so both of you work together and go after the post office put the blame where it belongs. Not the seller Not paypal.

Take it up at the post office. They have a form to find lost articles. Should be easier with the DC.

Was it insured?

Also, have you allowed adequate time for the package to arrive? It's not uncommon to take 3 - 4 weeks.

Besides, there's no guarantee a chargeback will stick anyway. It depends on what you claim happened.

Try to work patiently with all parties involved. Chargebacks only increase distrust between the buying and selling communities.

DC is not good enough to be protected by PayPals terms. It must be sent DC with signature confirmation. The shipping must show that the buyer actually signed for the package otherwise the seller can be charged back for the item. The process will take a while, but if they cannot show the signature, the money should be returned eventually.
Good luck.

i have already taken it up with the post office and tried working with the company. ive filed with paypal as a last resort. i finally went to paypal after i got nothing but rudeness and pretty much no help. they managed to email me a copy of what they call a dispatch log for my item. even if i did get it they over charged me 8.00 on shipping. i placed 2 seperate orders on different days and paid a total of 11.90 for shipping. they combined my order and it only cost 3.90 to mail it. they say the 8.00 is to cover handling charges. thats an awful lot of handling.

if each item is under 250,seller is protected against chargeback if he can prove dc delivery with NO signaure required.
do you know the dc number??if you do,you can check it yourself on usps site.

The user name sure fits. looks to me like you are P.O. because of the Shipping and handling charge . you new what it was before you paid it so why cry now. You know eBay and paypal will kick you off for being a fraudlent buyer as well as a seller. And I believe they will believe the DC and the post office over you unless you have some very strong proof.

one i didnt buy thru ebay. two i dont see how im fraudulant if i stated i didnt receive something and i didnt receive it. if i dont get the money back so be it. i dont see how im being snobby about anything. as for the shipping charges i knew i was paying 5.98 in shipping for each order. not once did it say anything about we'll combine orders you place even when theyre placed over a week apart and then make a profit off of the shipping.
