I was wondering if Auction Watch will be adding any new templates soon. Though the templates we have already are okay (though quite bland) I was hoping eventually to have some new ones to pick from. Recently saw some by collectorsonline.com and Andale incorporating borders, flowers, swirls and such. Professional and attractive!

Any chance we'll be getting some better ones in the near future?

Thanks.

I AGREE! Most of the templates in use now are dark and bold. I have often wondered why there are no "feminine" colors like pinks or mauves for things like perfume bottles and that type of item. I also noticed the ones on Andale and was very impressed! How about it, Auction Watch!

Yes, I agree. More "feminine" colors for the templates, please.

there is a nice pink feminine one if you look under create custom templates/choose category (special)/pink retro. theres also some flowery retro one to. but i do agree the selection is lacking.

I saw a very pretty template on an auction the other day it looked like a messed up silk bed sheet-very cool looking.

I would like to see some more rustic or antique-y templates. Most of the templates are too high tech for my stuff. And some I like, but refuse to use because NOBODY wants to read black type on a screaming yellow background - no matter how cool the frame.

Personally, I think the Andale frames are really hokey. The silk sheets someone referred to is the "Antique" one. I wouldn't use it!! Looks like...romance, not antiques.

People are interested in your product, and the pix of it. You can be totally professional in your presentation without the cutesy frames, I think.

Just me, but I'm turned off by the excessive use of cutesy stuff in auctions.

I don't have a problem with anyone using templates as long as you don't have trouble reading the description but I do have a problem with Music...when I look at an item if music starts playing I usually just hit my back button..I have to want it really bad to listen to music while I am trying to concentrate on a description.

I also hate music on the auctions- they are distracting and almost always too loud.

It is time for new templates. Several new image hosting sites have great ones. Please, AW, time to update!
