eBay is having problems. I tried to access some auctions that are getting ready to end and received this message instead of the listing:

*** System Status ***

Some members may be experiencing some site slowness due to high activity on the eBay site.

eBay is aware of this issue and we are working to resolve the situation.

We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Regards,
eBay

In my case, it wasn't slow, but not working at all!

The problem I'm having is with fixed price.
Sold items will not move to closed.
I need to refresh 5-6 times to get them to move!
It's a pain because customers don't get the WBN when they are supposed to.
And I don't know they sold till I go to Ebay and see it myself.

I think they(auctionwatch) makes enough money charging us listing fees without having to charge us final value fees too. All the little fees add up.

This is a problem that I have been experiencing for months with my BIN customers, and I kinda expected it to be a problem with the Fixed Price auctions as well. I don't know how the software works, but I figure there is some kind of a 'reminder' to the program when the auctio will close, and therefore it will list all of the items upon a regular closing time. But there is only the occassional 'check' to see if the item was ended early.

These are only assumptions, not actual facts.

revvassago: I guess you hate everything about auctionwatch except its boards? Why don't you go to some boards supported by suppliers you like? You are insulting those of us who have the smarts to properly utilize all of auctionwatch'es functions. Your post is way out of line on this ebay-related board.

BIN and Fixed Price auctions not moving to Post Sale have been a big problem since both were introduced. All AW can say is to change your email address to their "mailstep". I find this unacceptable but still continue to wear out my refresh button.
