I'm sure this has happened to you. After a second request for pay and NPB the customer pays by check after 30 days have passed.
They paid $18.00 for the item but neglected to pay for $5.77 in shipping cost.
Well since i've waited for 30 days it's time for them to wait. In about a week or two i'll send an email asking for the remainder that is due and hold the item until I receive it.

SORRY, THIS IS JUST A TEST OF THE EMERGENCY BROADCAST SYSTEM, HAD THERE BEEN A REAL EMERGENCY THIS WOULD BASICALLY BE USELESS. THANK YOU.

if you consider yourself a professional seller, you dont play game, you ship when you receive full payment.
yes, they can be complete you know what, but dont get down to that level.
sometimes they just cant cough up the cash.

I would return the check & request the full amount owed. Give them a deadline & if thay haven't paid, give them a NPB & a neg. We have to abide by our own rules. These SOB's who give us all grief have to learn that we don't stand for their stupidity.

Of course I didn't tell all of the story for you don't have time to read a book. I'm sure all of you have played the email game with stupid questions that have been answered fifteen different ways.
In actuality it's called bidder remorse and they play it to the end just to make a seller miserable and to tie up their time.
As far as making them wait, no I didn't do that and I never have. Just needed to vent.
I emailed them the day I received the check but of course there hasn't been an answer yet.
Guess I need a vacation but it's beautiful where I live so that would be a waste of time and money.

BE CAREFUL
When lowering yourself to the level of the other person,............. you may be under water !!!!!! (or at least underneath the minimum level of the gene pool)
