I bought a 1939 book by T. E. Lawrence for 50 cents. Copyright information reads: "First published May 1939, Reprint May 1939. Published in Great Britain in 1939." No other copyright information given.
Book is in very good condition; dust jacket is somewhat soiled but not torn, even! Price not clipped off. Etc. etc.
AddAll.com has this book starting at $39 and going to $650, so I want to be very sure I list it accurately.
Need advice on how to say if it's a reprint of a first edition or what??

Roadsmith, you may have what is called the "first UK edition" and as such may be collectible.
Compare the publisher and printer information with those on Addall, see if any list theirs as 1st UK ed.

Try this site. It is a question and answer section on what editions books are. I hope this helps. If not you can ask a question.
