I just finished reading a thread that had me laughing hysterically. Thought maybe some of you AW'ers would share your stories. Whats the funniest feedback exchange you've come across? Not a really serious topic, but it sure brightened my day!

I bought something a while back, and it was awful! It had severe damage that was not disclosed in the description, and the pictures in hindsight were deceptive. I politely wrote to the seller and asked for a refund...Her response to me was " I don't give refunds ( as stated in description) so you are JUST OUT OF LUCK)...Honest...that was her reply. I negged her, and her response was
BUYER LIES!! I HAD DEATH IN FAMILY!! Huh??
I noticed she racked up a few more negs after me,all due to misrepresentation, and her response was the same to all " I HAD DEATH IN FAMILY"..must be some kind of dishonest seller plague? Anyway, she has'nt sold for a few months...I am wondering......

six days after close of an auction bidder negs seller after he is caught with a invalid address on his bill point account and states in his feedback ...

Seller refuses to sell.

There are a couple of examples that I read that just cracked me up. One was a neg stating that item "smelled like smoke", and the response was "It was a used firemans jacket - what did you expect"? Another buyer who purchased "invisible fish" after paying for a baggie of water (pictured in auction) stated "where are my fish?" Seller responded with "buyer didn't pay for insurance". Some people!!??

Bidder who negged us for not shipping BEFORE she sent payment also put this neg on someone else: they are jealous of my ravishing beauty. Lot of crazies bidding.

One of my bidders had a -1 feedback...

"I got your cherry and it was a bad one"

More disgusting than funny in my opinion.

I have a friend who also sells on eBay, he had a buyer who wasn't happy with his purchase and threatened to sue. The exchange was as follows:

Buyer: My lawyer will give you a suit (meaning file suit).
Seller: Tell your lawywer I have a suit, need trousers.

Here's one the AW oldtimers will remember, it's a classic:

Complaint : Item was packaged in old pizza box full of ants. Looked as if had been used.
Response by mboyko - Yeah, but your plate got there safe and sound. So what's the problem?

the funniest 'neutral' we ever got was, "It was a beautiful vase! But cat knocked it over and broke [it] before we could put it away." ... sheesh!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm here every night, mostly reading & occasionally posting. Always good to see your posts.

Do you remember when mboyco was posting here & he started a thread about how to cheat while relisting on eBay & avoid the listing fee.
He went into great detail and......

A few days later he was naru at eBay.
He was so stupid & was posting with his eBay used ID & teaching how to cheat.

A really unethical seller & I'm glad eBay got word of the post & dumped him.

Here is the retaliatory neg he left for "pizza box plate buyer" so undeserved & the only neg she has.

Complaint : Item arrived safely, she's mad because I shipped it in a pizza box.. Why?
Follow-up by mboyko - Yeah, you're right. There's nothing scarier or more dangerous than an ANT!
Response by XXXXXX - maybe because it was full of ants. I have kids and pets to think about.
