I have HDC feedback to leave under my selling and buying ids. Normally the HDC feedback is mixed in with the eBay feedback, and I can get to Leave Feedback through eBay or Half-Com. However, the HDC feedback I need to leave under both ids is not showing up, and it has been this way for me since at least the 16th. Only eBay feedback shows up in Leave Feedback.

Does anyone know what is going on?

I emailed HDC Customer Support. No response.

I emailed Power Sellers. No response.

I posted a message to the eBay Feedback Answer Board, no answer yet.

I know there are Half-Com sellers on this board, thought perhaps one of you might have an answer for me.

Hotcup: I have the exact same question! Must be a glitch, unless they've decided to do away with that, which I cannot imagine.

My major beef, though, is that, if we happen to leave feedback for the buyer first, that listing is gone from our feedback page. Then when the buyer leaves feedback, all we can learn is that we sold a "book," can't find the name of the book again so we don't know which sale it really was. Whereas feedback from an eBay buyer always tells us exactly what we sold, not just "a book."

And when we've learned that we sold "a book" (duhhh), we can't go back to where we were! We just keep getting that page over and over again.

Let's hope Half.com is planning a major improvement here.

Hi Roadsmith,

I still don't have access to leaving HDC feedback? Do you have access yet? Have you tried to contact anyone at HDC or eBay?

My buyers and sellers are leaving me HDC feedback under both ids, so other people are getting normal access.

I've sent out a lot of emails with no replies, except from PS, who told me that my complaint is being directed to another department. Whoopee.

Regarding the idiotic way that HDC feedback is structured, the only way I have been able to link feedback left me to the sold book is to copy and paste the HDC transaction number on the feedback into my email software program, run a search, and up pops the original email from HDC, which gives me the name of the book. What a frustrating and convulated method. I haven't figured out anything better.

I can't access any half.com sales yet in my feedback page.

I think there's a Half.com message board here somewhere and I'm going to see if I can find it to leave something, also to see if others are having the same problem.

Here's what I found on the Ebay "Feedback" Message Board. Dunno what we can do about this right now. Adele

I find that ALL my recent purchases on Half.com are not showing up when I attempt to leave
positive feedback for the sellers, and I receive an error message that I have no feedback to leave
these sellers. Not so! The regular Ebay purchases are still functioning fine and are still showing up in
my feedback list. (When I attempted to report these problems, which I finally succeeded in doing, I
found that both Half.com and Ebay are putting people through a torturous convoluted maze before
they can send an email to report a problem. It is obnoxious beyond belief, and I imagine most
people just give up -- which is probably exactly what Ebay intends!)

Same here. For the last two days I have been getting the message "No item(s) found
Sorry, you have no transactions for which you can leave feedback." and I know this is not correct
since I have been shipping 5+ sales every day and 15 over the weekend. I'll just keep this at the
top Bob until we get an answer or it starts working.

My problem may be related to yours. When I attempt to look at my recent half.com sales on the seller payemts page, recent sales take up to 2 weeks to appear. I still get paid for them, however, whether or not they show up on the list.

Same here. I logged in under 'My Account' and followed the 'Purchases' link. All purchases since 11/15 are completely missing the 'Rate Seller' link.

I heard back from half.com customer service. There is a problem. Big surprise. No timeline for a fix. Big surprise. So here are directions on how to leave feedback until the problem is fixed.

++++++++copy and paste++++++++++++
Thank you for writing about the problems you are having leaving feedback
for orders you have sold.

We have had several members report that they are having trouble finding
transactions that they need to leave feedback for in their accounts. We
have notified the engineering team of the problem and they are working
to get this problem resolved. There is not currently an estimated time
that this will be fixed. In the meantime you can leave feedback for the
buyer by following the steps below:

1. Find the transactions you need to leave feedback for in your "Sales"
section or "Payments History" section on the site.

You will need the transaction number and buyer's user id.

2. Copy the link below into your browser.

http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?LeaveFeedbackShow&useridfrom=s
ellerid&useridto=buyerid&item=transaction#

3. Where the link has sellerid please replace it with the sellers user
id. Where the link has buyerid please replace it with your user id.
Replace the transaction# with the actual transaction# you need to leave
feedback for.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while
the engineering team works to resolve the problem.

Good Lord. They'd BETTER apologize for "any inconvenience!" How shabby.

Ok, everyone, don't waste your time trying to leave half.com feedback following the instructions Customer Service gave me, which I posted to this thread earlier today. I wasted a half hour of my life following the instructions, and all I got was error messages telling me each transaction was not valid because it does not exist or is not a completed transaction.

Question, does this coincide with the time span that eBay crashed and spammers were able to access eBayers email addresses last week? Computer experts, was eBay hacked in a major way and they are keeping quiet about it? I ask because this seems like a major technical difficulty to not be able to leave feedback for over a week now.

Hotcup: A couple of weeks ago, some of us were having trouble posting feedback for our ebay sales. We'd get those same messages you've just told us about. HOWEVER, we discovered that the feedback was going through anyway! In spite of the messages saying no valid sale, etc. etc. So, when all of this comes back into feedback as it is supposed to be, you may discover that the half.com sales for which you've just tried to post feedback are no longer listed on your page. Just a thought for you. Of course, there seems to be no way for you to check with the buyer to see if the feedback really did come through because you probably don't have the buyer's e-mail address, right??

Honestly! I hope this all gets resolved soon.

Hotcup: I informed TAGnotes about this problem, and below is their reply PLUS the reply they got (immediately, apparently) from Half.com. Looks like next week before it's fixed. The solution given is what you were given, too. Same ol' same ol'.

Hi Adele,
I had not heard about this problem, so thank you for the info. I will include it in the next issue.

Here is the response I received from a contact I have at ebaY. Feel free to share the info on the
boards - and you may of course feel free to let folks know that The Auction Guild tracked it down for
you ) -Rosalinda

"This is being worked on right now. Development began working on it on 11/21
and the fix should be rolled out soon. We thought it would be yesterday, but
more likely Monday or Tuesday.

In the meantime, there is a workaround for sellers (see below). It will
allow them to leave feedback on transactions that are not showing up as
available for feedback. If they are getting a flat out error message,
however, that will have to wait for the fix I am sorry to say.
******************************
Half.com Feedback Workaround
******************************

1. Find the transactions you need to leave feedback for in your "Sales"
section or "Payments History" section on the site.

You will need the transaction number and buyer's user id.

2. Copy the link below into your browser.

http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?LeaveFeedbackShow&useridfrom=selle
rid&useridto=buyerid&item=transaction#

Where the link has buyerid please replace it with the buyers user id. Where
the link has sellerid please replace it with your user id. Where the link
has transaction# please replace it with the transaction # you need to leave
feedback for.

3. You should be able to leave feedback when the new page is loaded.
