OK, just let me check my spare change jar.
Not sure if this is a typo or they are shooting for the sky on this one.

Will have to bookmark this one just to see where it will wind up at the end.

He could get that easy, if he had an old beer can to throw in with the deal!

He must think a lot of the photographic collectibles collection.

Only one photo too? The beer can seller had a (9) feedback rating and this seller has an (18) rating.

This auction reminds me of the auction that a lady lists from time to time of her doll collection with a starting bid of one million dollars.

For $13,000,000 you'd think they could have paid the $20 extra to make it a featured auction.....ohhhh, now I see, it's in 2 categories, that would be $40 extra.....too much

You would also of thunkit that for 13 mil, they could of sprung for more pics... 15 cents a piece shouldn't of broke them.

I wonder how much the listing fee is for this?

I'm familiar with photo history having majored in photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology in the mid 60s.I've taken the History and Aesthetics of Photography at the George Eastman House as part of my undergraduate work and am more than a little familiar with the seller's material. I cannot imagine how they conjured up this price but would love to hear their arguments.

This is a fantastic private collection but I agree with seyms its a little unrealistic. There are only about six private collections that large in the US.

There are a few in there that will easily command $20,000. and I bet Eastman or Bauhaus Museums would love to get some of these treasures.

I considered it but Im a little short on rent money this month....

Lets all pool our money, buy the collection, break it up into two or three sales at Sothebys, retire.
