My state flag .gif is gone in my auctions in the location spot! All that remains is the code. What gives?

Hi, Ebay has a strict size limit on any logos, and they may feel that it is too large, or serves no purpose? Take a look at the requirements for the size item you are trying to display

It the same flag I've used for 2 years. Did they change the size limit?

Have you tried putting the quotes before http and after gif? e.g., <img src="http://pongo.com/flag/sc.gif"> I know that without the quote marks it usually won't work. Just a thought.

I'll try that. This has been working like this for 2 years. It's saved in my preferences on AW in the ebay Location. It worked tonight when I tried it on an HTML scribble pad online, but not on ebay and not when I copied it to this board. Thanks!

tynah:

To have a pic show up here:

[$img]http://yourpiclocation.jpg[$/img]

REMOVE THE $ TO MAKE THE PIC WORK.

The regular html doesn't work on the board. I found this out the hard way once before.

I'm glad that ebay made the rule change. The location box should only show the sellers location. I hate it when all you see is something stupid like "We have the best deals!". No hint of where the seller is located.
