I think this is either restaurant ware or railroad ware but I would like to know what they are. 2 1/4 inches high, 3 1/4 inches at the widest part but the shape isn't oval. The sides are out a little. Since I don't know the name of the pattern I can't search it on replacements.com as there are so many. I did try and search by the numbers on the bottom but to no avail. Each one has a different logo, same name and different numbers. Kovels doesn't help. Any and all help appreciated. Thanks

It's most likely restaurantware. Just about all railroad china has the name of the RR imprinted on it. Try www.littlespoon.com . It's my "bible" when it comes to the restaurantware. Syracuse is well covered there.

Nice website. He put a lot of work into it but I didn't find my pattern. The one you can't see the bottom on is from March 1961. The other is older. If you look closely at them the older one is a lighter green. I don't think you can see that in the picture.
Well anyway I asked him if he could tell me what they are. Maybe small sugar bowls or something like that. Inot have fun searching your patterns.

Resturant china is a great seller, if you've got odd pieces, or sets of pieces. In the past 15 years, I must have sold over 10,000 pieces of Buffalo china (with the raised buffalo on bottom), that I picked up a resturant supply house that was going out of business and the manager made the mistake of saying "yeah for $100 you can have it all but you got to pack and tote it". Well, it almost broke my old back, but I got it all out of there, and my back felt much better, when I had people standing in line to buy it for a $1 a piece, at the local flea market.

Looks like you have custard cups.
