Did you read the appraisel? It has a 10-18-2002 sale price of $45,000. And they started it at $120,000.

Give me a break..........

I am willing to bet those are kiddies play bidding on that house... there is no way it is worth 12 mil.

Besides I don't think bids on houses are binding?

The high bidder is a powerseller with lots of feedback so you know for sure they are legit.

That's a 30 day auction!
Is that something special for real estate?

there is no way it is worth 12 mil.

The value is not in the house, the value is in who owned the house.

This is a well known rap singer.

Nothing on ebay is binding unless one can enforce it thru a court of law.

With a hit movie too. The house auction has been in the news for weeks.

12 million is way too much to pay in my opinion. Heck, 1.2 million is way too much.

The big winner is going to be the insurance agent who writes the homeowner's policy on that shack.

I live 50 miles from Warren, Michigan and have bee thru that neighborhood many times, mostly in the daytime hours. That area is only about 1.5 miles north of 8 Mile Road. Eight Mile Road is the Detroit and Warren city border. The neighborood of this house is filled main streets that have mostly small factories and foundries. Also, filled with bars that cater to Joe 6 pack, and a few other struggling commercial outlets. Eight Mile Road is a major center for prostitution too.

Maybe the high bidder is an out of town buyer! He/she must be paying cash for this deal. NO BANK would ever finance it!

For this house, and the neighborhood, the starting bid is WAY TOO MUCH!

There was a mention in my local paper this morning about the listing, said they were trying to contact the high bidder.
