Advanced Search has been disabled since last Thursday - no announcement on any board that I can find. What does this mean? No searching through titles AND descriptions. You can only use Basic Search (keyword) or search, item by item, in a category. This is BAD news for buyer and seller, in this prime selling period. Didn't eBay propose a "quiet period" of minimal change? Have you wondered if this change is due to "glitches" from code changes, or allocating scarce resources for "big customers", or "crash prevention"? The listings, for those with unique items (collectibles etc), are certainly discouraged when you must use this tedious process of comparing competition currently available. I seem to remember a certain cfo describing small time sellers as "clutter". I can understand the commission on a house, or thousands of scratch and dent computers vs. a "miniscule" commission on a "whatsit". I hope this is restored ASAP and my thoughts are way off. What do YOU think?

There was a posting some where on ebay, but I haven't been able to find it talking about changed in the advanced search option. I know that closed auctions will be moving there soon and it could have been some experimenting on ebay's part why it was down.
