In the latest People magazine eBay is advertising as follows: "Live Help is eBay's support line for new users that's available via live computer chat to answer any questions you may have."

Dear Meg: Liar, liar, pants on fire!

I have been all over eBay's help system and I see nothing that could be considered "live" by any reasonable definition.

Yes they do have live help on occasion if you refresh the page till you get their new simple that they are testing page it is on the right side

It is manned by liveperson under an agreement with them.

It was showing up in about 1 out of 10 of the old pages but haven't seen it there lately.

I did test them with some questions and they seemed to know what they were talking about.
