Sounds like a simple mistake of not reviewing your auctions.

Sorry no sympathy here, you had been warned several times, play with fire and sometimes you get burned.

Yes, you could be banned if eBay found out.

Its not like I said "screw em"

Well, I guess ebay thought that. They did warn you several times and you kept violating.

If they let everyone just get by with the excuse "I made a mistake" they would have all sellers violating because there would be no consequences.

It's up to us to read the rules and heed them.

In the email from ebay it says I was suspended for 'multiple listing violations'. I have had emails from ebay 2 or 3 times in the past warning me of different listing violations they say I was commiting in my auctions for this account but I always went in and changed the auction right away to make it right.

That's what you wrote. That's what I read.

And how is ebay going to determine that you are saying it's a mistake or you are saying screw 'em or go to hell?

I am sure some do think "screw 'em" and I'll do it until or if I get caught. With others, perhaps you, it may have been several honest mistakes.

I think it's three times and you're out for 30 days at least. I don't think you can list under another account in your name. And it's a shame if it is your only source of income, especially this time of year. I do wish you luck in getting back on.

Why did the poster edit the orginal comments? Since I did not see them, I was wondering why. If any knows, let me know.

Why did the poster edit the orginal comments?

Because they did not get the sympathy they were looking for.

They made a choice to ignore several warnings from ebay, then came here to whine and snivel when they got the boot.

They will be crying louder when ebay finds out that they are running under another ID.

there is the case last year a guy picked up some items from sam club for 5k and ebay disallowed the sales and suspended him,so he quickly relisted under his wife id and got the permanent boot,so watch out.
ebay can be tough when it comes to suspension

stopwhining: Thanks for the advice and word of warning. I am not selling on my other account. I had auctions running at the time but cancelled them when the suspension happened.

trai: If you had read my original post you would know that what you said is not true(although I doubt you care about the truth). I never "made a choice to ignore several warnings from ebay" where did you get that from?

thchaser200: The reason I chose to edit my posts is that some people on this board think its fun to beat up on someone when they are down and sincerely in need of help instead of trying to offer helpful advice.

Well, the fact is that you kept doing it! yes, I did read your original post plus kiara copied and pasted part of it right here.

You would not have to keep changing anything if you took the time to read ebays rules, therefore they would not keep sending you the warnings. End of story!

The reason I chose to edit my posts is that some people on this board think its fun to beat up on someone when they are down and sincerely in need of help

That has to be biggest pile of crapola I seen in awhile.

instead of trying to offer helpful advice

People have been helping you with good advice, do not ignore ebay warnings!

Where did you get beat up? The comments made by Twelvepole and myself are still on this thread and they are unedited for all to read what was said.

You asked me if I read so I copied and pasted what you wrote. You said it wasn't like you told ebay to go to hell.

Both of us said it wasn't wise to list under another account. I even said it was a shame as you said it was your only income. And I wished you luck getting back on.

We didn't beat you up, we didn't even bring out the stick.

I did not log in for the original post. Some members of AW did. From what I can tell the original poster screwed up and came here to pout. From the many times I've seen this happen, this is NOT the best place to pout for being suspended from Ebay. Very few people here are going to hand you a Kleenex.

Yeah, right! thats why you got the boot. As far as part two of your saga, C'est la vie

Do your time and when they let you back on do not repeat these same "mistakes". Its that simple.

Have a great day.

Didn't bubblewrap start complaining last month about being suspended & them edit out the majority of their comments?

Guess they figured everyone would forget about it and give them sympathy...

unless you are a walmart or target or neiman marcus or nordstrom, ebay does not need any of us individual sellers, one booted, another will take his/her place.
most of us do not make our own products, anyone who has sales can order from the wholesaler or factory.

In a nut shell bubblewrap said " I posted auctions with content against eBay's rules, got caught and got suspended. This was after I had been warned several times before, but I never thought of reviewing my auctions or that I would get caught ...again."
"I sell under another ID also, can I be banned if caught?" "whoas is me... this is my only income..."

paraphrased but close

You would think that if this was someone's only income and had been warned before, they review and make sure their auctions were good.
Feel sorry for the lack of income, but you had been warned...

I don't remember bubblewrap coming here for previous violations. But I do remember skruggie and saffy. saffy's attitude sucked but skruggie sounded sincere in his attempts to get reinstated and went through lots of work to convince ebay of that and finally got back on.

So if you are still around bubblewrap, perhaps read this thread that I post a link to and try to convince a rep at ebay that you did make mistakes. Also be sincere in stating that you will try not to have it happen again if that's how you feel.

Keep trying and perhaps you will reach someone that cares. I hope it turns out okay for you and once again, good luck!

http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/read.html?num=2&id=486348&thread=486144

And remember, it may very well have been a competitor that turned you in to ebay so if and when you get back on you will have to be extra careful.

I got here after bubble whine baby edit their posts and blanked them out then asked for the thread to be locked and deleted hmmmm can not take the heat I suppose, Well no sympathy here either in the couple of years selling I have read the rules a couple of times when I was going to try and sell something unusual to make sure I was not going to get ebay pissed off one time I did send me a warning letter for a link and removed it on any and all future auctions

Sooooooooooo when you get a letter from ebay do not ignore it!!! You can not hide thinking the auction Police are going to forget about you

something about being warned by ebay on multiple listings (of the same items)??
ebay has rules on listing the same item multiple times.
he ignored the warnings(note the s) and got suspended.
he is also selling under another id and is wondering if ebay will find out and if so,what will happen??
i am guessing from all the postings,i never get to read the original thread.
