I have items due for relist [where you'd get the free rate if it sells] that I just scheduled to list FLD. I believe if I leave them as is, I will lose that 'relist for refund'. How do I copy/paste/duplicate it into a 'new' listing? This way, technically I have not relisted it, and I won't lose that 'relist for refund'.

Should I delete it from "scheduled", copy or duplicate, and than schedule? Or should I delete all scheduled, archive the closed, than go to inventory and make a new listing for each. It appears it must go in as a new item rather than a "relist" in order to be eligible for FLD rather than the traditional relist in the closed section.

Or shall I just start all over because I cannot remember which are 'relist for refund' and/or 'relist nonrefundable'! TIA

I just did a whole bunch of relists which were eligible for the free relist and got the email confirmation from eBay - they seemed to have been listed as new items and not relists and I received a listing fee credit on every one of them

Thanks Neglus...

I realize you received your credit for insertion fees back today. But if I am correct and if your item does not sell and you need to relist it, you will have voided the 'refund if sells second time around' and it will state relist-nonrefundable because you used it on FLD. I have found a way to fix this, but only through a pending auction. There has got to be a better way. It is so time consuming and I wasted the last 2 hours figuring it out. Wish AW would answer. Good luck to you.

Your relist must remain in the 'Closed Auction' panel to use for next week if it doesn't sell...and also be in the 'Active Auction' panel today. If it disappears from 'Closed' than next week it will be nonrefundable if you relist.

WOW! I'm listing those relists with "buy-it-nows" and already had a purchase..decided not to wait til this evening to schedule since many people are home today and browsing..eBay must have accelerated the search function because that auction was less than 2 hours old and buyer is not a repeat!

Good Idea! I was putting the 10 day auction for 10 cents but I believe you have something there. This is suppose to be the 2nd big shopping week-end of the year and BIN should help us!

I've been copy and pasting the relist into a new listing. It takes about 30 or 40 seconds each but should be worth it. I open two windows and alternate between the two.

I do not use AW or any third party service.

STANLEYMU:

Sorry I took so long to answer. I was trying to put into words for you what I have been doing. Hope you find/found a better way! This is what I have been doing…

I make sure I have a copy of the auction ready to copy and paste such as in a Word processor before doing this. Also, make sure it is pending and scheduled for a few hours later…Then…

Under Pending: Click on the ‘Title’ only. Do not checkmark under ‘Select’.

Scroll to the bottom of the next page and click on ‘Undo Launch’.

You will see ‘Auction Schedule’ and ‘New Listing’ and ‘Select Venue’. Click on ‘Ebay’ and fill out (copy and paste) in the ‘Create Auction’ form. You will have to re-attach your images as you are creating a ‘New Listing’. You will have to hold the control button down to attach several images at once (and don’t forget, be sure and attach in the order in which you want them to appear) Another hint, have your category number ready and your S/H/I. Everything handy to create a NEW LISTING. Complete the form.

Then click on ‘Launch’ or schedule it.

Scroll down to bottom of next page and click on ‘Back to Control Panel’ .

Under Pending/Scheduled – Delete the auction that is not ‘processing’.

Good Luck!
