Maybe I'm behind on the times but I got an email from Ebay stating today, Dec. 26 is a FLD for powersellers!
Yipee! Except I only have one thing to list :0(
Actually, I'm going to scrounge my house for anything...
Great for selling those not-so-great gifts received yesterday!

I'm a powerseller. I suspected it would be today, as I've posted before. So I checked the PUBLIC message boards Christmas evening and there was the notice around 7pm last night.
Dec. 26th, about FIVE PM I got an e-mail from eBay. That's around 22 hours AFTER I saw the notice on eBay.
Not exactly what I'd call advance notice.
At least this year, my Aution service came through for me. I've got 4500+ items listed with another 4500 still in the Queue that haven't launched yet... Still hoping on those. Last year, I got NONE online, as my sevrice blew up from the overload.
I've never had NINE THOUSAND auctions listed before. Should be a busy week!

Yikes!!! 9,000! I could easily do 9K in about 9 years or so!
I did go around my house and was amazed to find that I have some GREAT things hanging around that I had intended to sell but never did!
I ended up with about a dozen items and am still looking. It's interesting how one's eyes change after joining the world of Ebay sales. No kidding--every item I see in a store is a "potenial sale"! It drives Hubby batty!
Anyway, best of luck to everyone. I didn't use AW after seeing all the problems and just used the regular MisterLister with zero problems!

Here is where we get Ebay's "Email is not a perfect medium" *smile*
I have gotten the emails on 2 of my 3 accounts - not the 3rd - letting me know about the event.. fortunately I hang out in the right places and one of the PS who did get their email came and shared the info.
