I get that e mail form a questioner. And that is all that is really given, No e bay number, no clues as to what they are referring to. Did something just change to make it even MORE difficult! I swear,,the last time I got one it had the e bay number in the subject line as well. And a clickable link to the auction in question. The person just says I am interested in your,ITEM. 1000's of ITEMS! (not knocking the sender in the least either) e bay!!!!!!!

Hi Fetish, when I received a question from a buyer to seller it had the auction number in the subject line.
If there is nothing to refer you to what auction just reply to the email and ask that buyer...

If the auction is still running, the e-mail will show the auction number. If the auction has closed, no auction number will show in the e-mail.
It's really stupid to omit the number as sometimes it's the winner of the closed auction who is using the form to contact the seller.

There was a group a while ago using Ebay's Question a seller link to gather Email addresses. They send you an Email saying something like, "Can I have more information about this item?" with no indication as to what they were talking about. You email them to ask what they are talking about and they have your email address for SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM!

Stockticker You are most Correct! They are all from ones who asked after the auction ended without a Buyer......Never really Noticed that before,,,,Course most of my auctions always had wins. 911 changed that.
Thanks for your insite on this.
