What does the private mean after a user name? It doesn't show feedback or why would someone want to be private?

this means the user has chosen to hide their feedback for some reason...too many negs...foul language...doesn't what people to know what they bid on...I'm sure others will share other reasons for this

I have been seeing more and more bidders with private feedback. I go in and check their feedback box, but no negs or netruals. For some reason when we see "private" we expect the worse, but I have had no problems at all with them.
