Hi All,
I have a crystal chandelier selling right now and have had an inquiry about shipping charges to Seoul, Korea. I got it all packaged up and it weighs 25 pounds and the box is 23" X 26" X 27". That is OK for US shipping but too big for regular air or surface internationally according to the USPS site. I assumed the sizes would be the same. I might be able to condense it some but not sure I can enough and don't really want to spend the time trying. Told the person I would have to charge for the time involved if I repacked but thought I would check to see if any of you know another way to ship to Korea that would take a box that size. Thanks!

I looked at all the places I know of and FedEx is the cheapest at about $400 (dimensional weight is 98Lbs)
You might be able to call some export broker and get it on a ship a lot cheaper but I doubt it would be worth the bother.

I'd go or call the P.O.
They may have info you can't find online.
Can't see why they won't take an oversized package, just cost extra!

Thanks everybody! I did some calling today and either it will cost in the $300.00 to $400.00 range or some places can't take it because it is used. He will just have to find one that is not all put together to buy.
