How do you refuse a paypal payment? 30 days after the close of an auction a deadbeat buyer finally sends out a paypal payment. This item has been resold and is no longer available. I really hate to send her back her payment minus the paypal fee it seems unfair, but I'm not paying for her mistake!

Click on the "completed" link by the transaction. At the bottom of the page that comes up, there should be a "refund" link.

PayPal fees are given back to you when you do a refund. You can expain the reason for the refund on the refund form.

Thank you Tooltimes & Shop4shoes that worked great. I've had a paypal account since their inception and never had to do a refund.

COMPLETE refund, not just a refund.
