Iam sick and tired of deadbeats and threats
and relists Here in New Jersey if you get a ticket for a driving Violation It Stays On your record For I belive Two Years and then gets wiped clean, why dosent ebay have the same system for sellers if they get negative feedback and go for a year or less with no negatives wipe off a negative, why do we get puished for life with these #*!@ buyers

Your proposal would also delete well deserved negs.
Negs earned years ago are of little damage anyway and if followed by months of clean sales are ignored by most people.
So, how do you separate the two? I believe the idiot negs are posted by buyers that dont last long on ebay- and if they disappeared permanently with deregistration, it would clean up your record without sanitizing the truly crappy sellers who deserved theirs.
This would work better if accounts inactive
for X period time were automatically eliminated- but eBay isn't going to do anything to LOWER their buyer/seller numbers.
The other possibility is a suggestion that's banged around for years - newbies can't post feedback until they have 10 or 20 of their own- or if they can it's EASILY deletable
without cost.
I have 1 neg, dont know if it was valid or not, 4 neutrals, 3 deserved.

My problem with eBay's feedback system is
that you can't leave a Negative for deadbeats
who have been suspended or unregistered
themselves. Why? They placed the bid. I
should be able to say that they failed to
follow through. Others have a right to know!
They can become unsuspended or re-register
at a later time (I've seen it happen), but
if it is past 90 days, I can NEVER leave
them the feedback for our deal! That STINKS!
