The debit card I had registered no longer works. I paid with an echeck (I think that's what it's called)...an option Ebay allows. It has cleared my bank and is posted on my Ebay account. I even have a balance. But it says my count is "on hold for non-payment". Help!! I tried to go to where you can post questions, and it won't let me log on there. What to do?

Thanks! I tried the first # and got right through. And got right through to a real person!

I have to email the problem to [email protected]. We'll see!

They said Meg was on vacation.

That's just the problem...I did pay...I even now have a little credit! They said it would be 12-48 hours to fix. Hope it's not that long.

The same thing happened to me. It started in November 2002. My credit card (debit) was stolen and I cancelled and got a new one with a new number. I didn't update it on purpose because, I was nervous about ID theft, etc. So when I got my email invoice from ebay, I sent them a check. Then I recieved a notice my card wasn't good. Of course, I knew that, that's why I sent them a check. Well, they some how debitted my card anyway (I'm assuming they got updated info from paypal - when they bought them) and cashed my check. Caused me problems at the bank!
Then, I recovered from that and ebay double debited me again (not even sure how that happened). I called them and they told me I just would have to go for a credit the following month (I'm talking over $300 a pop). Then they deduct $157.14 from my account in January - I trusted that's what I owed them from the overpayment. I wait for another email invioce -- it never comes, and then I check into AW and find out my account is on hold from non-payment for 60 days. I've had it with their accounting sytem. I figure, what I pay in ebayfee, I'll apply towards marketing my webpage.
Any suggestions?
