Hi,
Okay I thought I would stop selling on ebay and did not get into the USPS shipping program (assistant 2.2) Now I want to try it.
What kind of labels can I use, I have the postage ones 2" X 4", can I use these for the DC? Can I change the font? there site says I need 4 X 6" they would be extra money.... need to save money

any helpful hints with the program would be great, I need to learn fast.

Thanks your all the best

No, you can't use conventional labels. Or, if you can, there is no obvious way to do it that I have found.

Shipping Assistant 2.2 formats shipping labels to fit on 1/2 of an 8.5 x 11 sheet. You can print the receipt for the eDC on the other half of the sheet, or you can print the receipt on the next page.

Try printing a test label. You'll see what I mean.

Thanks fluffy- so it looks like I can tape it on a package just as long as I don't tape over the barcode, which would mean I can use regular paper? I remember a thread on this a long time ago, but do not recall the concensus on this-
To buy labels or to use regular paper????

THANKS AGAIN

Yes, you can use regular paper. For folks who don't ship a whole lot, this is a perfectly fine solution.

I started buying half-sheet labels by the case because cutting and taping paper was just taking too long for the volume we do.

It is nice to be able to peel and stick.

What kinds of labels do you use Fluffy, it would save me a lot of time, sounds like a good idea.

I bought a case of 1000 sheets, generic brand, supposedly comparable to Avery 5165.

They are not cheap: about 10 cents per sheet. But I can do three or four of these in the time it used to take to cut-and-tape a plain paper label.
