The picture must be web-hosted. I don't think your AW photo inventory qualifies. The url should have a .jpg or .JPG suffix and not mixed cases. ( .Jpg )

GK is Thuringia, Germany so it may be that.
US Zone was added to the marks on Germany porcelain from about 1945 to 1949 as it was the occupied part of Germany after WWII.

I find out from different books like Kovels' dictionary of marks plus years of selling things. I've also learned a lot by buying and selling on ebay and from others on these boards. Some collectors amaze me with their knowledge.
Also Google search helps lots.

I have Kovel's dictionary of marks and about 9 others that I am always referring to but I still find I have to come here and ask for help. I am so glad that you and the other experts are here letting us pick your brain!

It could be a company called Weiss, Kuhnert & Co. Grafenthal, Thuringia. It's a guess because the mark isn't precisely the same but all companies change marks especially between types of maunfacture, eg., figurines vs. tableware. Also, this company was East German if I remember correctly so US wouldn't be right.
A picture of the piece would help.

The sugar bowl is the German mark.. The sugar bowl is very small,about 4 & 3/4"
tall and 2 & 1/2 " at base...Hope this helps.
