I am having a hard time finding anything on this. Maybe someone with more experiece and resources can help with this. You might want to check the library or local book store for a book of marks. I will keep looking but I need to hobble over to pick up my little boy

I just checked Kovel's Book of Marks. It's not there. The only "H" marks with triangles are an early Hull or Heinzl & Co. a pre WWII Bohemian manufacturer.
Post a picture. Sometimes there's something distinctive that will ring a bell.

This is Tpot with mark in question. I have another thread on the sugar bowl mark.. I have bumped it up.. if you need a better photo of tpot,I can send another...
The Tpot appears to be hand painted as I can feel raised white spots on Rose's..
Thanks every one...

This looks like it was made in Germany (Bavaria) also. Did you get both pieces from the same place?
I think it's a coffee pot as it looks too tall to be a teapot.

The sugar bowl looks German/Bavarian/Bohemian. The pot could be coffee or chocolate and had a more French or English look. Use a magnifying glass to make sure that they are hand painted and not a good transfer.

phawthorne,
I can't find the other thread! And I know it's there because I posted an answer there for you earlier. I though it might be Weiss, Kuhnert and Co. Grafenthal Thuringia. The only problem is that the mark isn't identical and Thuringia was in East Germany and your piece is marked US Zone. It could be an offshoot company or the mark differs from line to line eg., tableware vs. figurines. I also said to look at the paint under magnification to make sure it's hand painted and not a good transfer.

I am confused. I have a pic of the backstamp & a pic of the coffee pot & sugar bowl. They do not match. I have nothinbg that says US Zone. what am I missing here?? If the backstamp matches the pot, I suggest you send them to Replacements Ltd. @ replacements.com. If anyone can give you an answer they can.

Maybe the mark is upside down - it doesn't seem symmetrical, and it looks to me like it might be letters: HHK, HHB, HK, HB, etc... Not sure if that helps at all.
