Some people are really hard-up for their root -- "Ay! What's up, Doc?"

Ebay hasn't killed it.
Do they really expect to get paid.
I don't think so!
So why do they let it go on?

More importantly - why is the seller letting it get so high?

I can't figure that out either why Ebay is letting it go so high- it is a deformed Carrot not a house or something.

It's possible the seller (low # 26 ) doesn't know how to cancel or actually thinks it's legit!

What is the EBAY fee for this going to be?

You know what I see coming in the future.
Because of Bull S--t auctions like this.
Ebay is going to stop giving FVF!
And they are going to say it's up to the seller to police their own auctions.
And if they can't or don't want to:
Tuff S--t!!
PAY UP!

I doubt they go that far but I would not be surprised in the next year or so to see ebay require a credit card be attached to all accounts and them charging FVC back to the offending bidding.

There have been bid retractions: understandable.
Seller has also cancelled bids: I think he's playing the game for real!
IS he in for the shock of his life!
If this should happen to be for real I know what I'm planting in the garden this spring!

I just looked at the bid history. There are only 2 or 3 that have over 100 + feedbacks. Most are less than 25. I really think that some jerks are pulling a sham. Ain't noway that the bidding is for real, not at 100 million dollars.

ok today I watched a ton of bids get canceled on this auction and it went down to $121.00 and now a few hours later it is up to $15,000. He added more info on it and took another picture of it I think and the carrot looks real old. He said if bidding goes up to $100,000 he will personally deliver the carrot. Any rabbits around here got that much scratch?

Why would anyone want this. Correct me if I am wrong, but a vegetable or fruits do not last long. They will get rotten in a few weeks. By the time the winner gets this, it will be moldy, and rotten. no way to preserve this.

Check out what he said...

Totally freak out your friends and neighbors with this carrot they won't believe their eyes.

By the time it gets to them, it will be spoiled and moldy, and they will be freaked that you bought a spoiled vegetable for 15,000!!!

The whole world has been watching this carrot it practically has its own fan club.

Fan club, where?? Is he talking about this post in auction watch??

I will gladly ship the carrot anyway you wish you can even pay for my airplane ticket and I will hand it to you personally.

Why do I have to PAY his plane trip to give this to me?? Sounds like he is trying to get himself a free plane trip, not knowing the pervert who buys this have other things in mind for the seller and the carrott!!

Also will the airplane allow him to bring aboard a rotten piece of carrot on board? Isnt there safety issues?
