I was shocked to discover that ebay blocked my registration because of bad contact information and ended all my auctions last night. The only thing I can think of because our area code changed a while back and I forgot to change it on ebay.
I responded to their email and filled out safe harbor forms.
Any ideas on how long this is going to take to clear up? I have good feedback and I keep up with my ebay payments.
I wish they would have at least emailed me and told me to fix!!!

Did you have you contact info pulled by anyone recently. If so they probably tried to call you and could not so they turned you in to e-bay and they axed you for the bad contact info. Just change your info and reply to the safe harbor e-mail "as you already did" and it should get cleared up in a couple days. Good Luck !

A friend of mine who also sells on ebay just received an email wanting all kinds of personal information, SS#, Account Password, Credit Card info...etc.
I told him to forward it to eBay and not to answer... man it takes all kinds out there.
AIN'T LIFE GRAND...

tomyou is most likly right about that someone pulled your info and turned you in. Would not think that it would be too long before your back on.
Too many people are now abusing that contact info I feel. It was never meant to be pulled for just any simple old reason. It should be used as a last resort only.
There is no reason someone could not email you first if they needed to know something.
