I think this is a great new idea. It will save a lot of time and it will expose bad feedback percentages to the many bidders that forget to look before bidding.
***Seller Information Box Update***
The Seller Information Box provides more prominent placement on the item page for information such as the seller's User ID, Feedback total, percentage of positive feedbacks, and more. It also includes a quick link to Safe Trading Tips.
We are introducing the Seller Information Box across the site by category over the next few weeks. Today, the Seller Information Box will begin appearing in more categories across the site.

Positive feedback ratio is the only additional element we need. All of that other stuff about country and date registered is all bloat. Really who cares? If the seller is new, we will know by their feedback number. Honestly, I'm not even sure what use the country display will do.

I'm not sure the feedback ratio is such a good idea IMO. I come up with 99.9% positives, but my competitor who has a ton of negatives and neutrals for "out of stock", "slow shipment" "never answers emails" etc. has 96% positives (he has something like 1100 neutrals and 1500 negaitves and his total is 22,000 - I didn't look it up recently). You really have to be a horrible seller to go below 90% and if people don't look at the comments and just look at the percentage they'll never know.

ihula, If your compeiters neutrals were converted to negs, he would have a 88% positve/negative ratio. Not very daxn good IMHO. That is one part of the feedback system I don't like. I guess I see only black or white. Even though I have 7 Negs & 5 neutrals. I wonder how many of the neuts would be negs,if there weren't that category? I would still have a 98% + ratio.

My question is, which figure will be used, the rating in brackets beside your I.D. or your actual feedback total? Mine is about 1200 more than my rating because I have a lot of repeat buyer. Also, I never know which figure I should be giving as my feedback total.
