I wanted to start a new thread but similar to thread http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/read.html?num=2&thread=500506. As we know ebay in most cases will take a buyer out after 3 NPB FVF NEGs so what do they do about a seller who has 35 negs for not shipping items, we always hear about seller get the boot off ebay for other stupid thing

I have no idea about 35 negatives for not shipping items. All I know is if they acquire a -4 feedback that they are NARU. But if I was a buyer I would not buy anything from them.

Libra: you are mistaken. 4 negs will NOT get you NARU'ed. 3 NPB's will. I have 7 negs & am A power seller. There must be a way to get these jerks off eBay. I just don't know how.

filing for the NPB credits, thats how. At about 4 (or more?) NPB credits, they NARU them. eBay does not like to give money back!

whoops! your talking about getting rid of bad sellers! well the only thing is if enough fraud complaints were filed? I guess that might do it...

edited for the whoops

Sanmar-I think you misunderstood me. When a seller's feedback reaches a -4 because of negatives then eBay NARU's them. Yours will never reach a -4 because you have a great positive feedback. (I think since I don't know your seller name)
I.E. If I have a 5 positive feedback then 9 people have to give me negatives to kick me out of eBay because my feedback will reach a -4. I don't think I was to clear in my previous post.

Even then, -4 feedback does not automatically get you kicked off Ebay. Someone has to bring it to their attention and then they will take action. Believe it or not, Ebay rarely checks a users feedback. The same goes for the seller with 35 negs for non shipment. Ebay won't know about it unless the victims or someone else complains to them.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

My concern is that these sellers can cause a lot of damage to other sellers who do treat their customers well

Soooo we get a seller who has lets say a 50 Pos Feedback who buys items pays quick and has sold a few items all of a sudden they have decided to start selling and they rack up more negs than pos feedback for shipping problems or item not as described or for being rude jackA** in emails to bidders when does Ebay pull the plug I have seen a few sellers that should be booted off of ebay

I've reported a few that were burying their NEG feedback through buying.
Seems like if their Seller Feedback is lower than 85% pos eBay will consider NARU-ing them ~ I sent it through Safe Harbor.
I'm not sure if eBay has an actual 'cut-off' mark but from my experience, 85% seems about right. Filing fraud is too much of a bother & only applicable for higher ticket items. Lotsa scam artists go for the volume of sales under $30. The paperwork & time doesn't justify that horrendous procedure for $5.
The new feedback summary will help alert bidders who only look at the numbers, my concern is, as stated in a previous thread, the "feedback buyers' who hide their inadequacies as a seller by buying oodles of 'coupons' or other such auctions for $1, beefing up their feedback.

the only way a bad seller with positive feedback gets booted fast is when the buyers file for insurance with ebay.
