Hi,
I have purchased 3 bound volumes of Crockery and Glass Journal, a trade magazine for glass and pottery retailers, they are from 1959, 60 and 61. I just hate when this happens but have been reseaching for two days now and can find nothing to give me an idea of their value. Has anyone out there seen these before and maybe give me some idea of their worth, Thank you.

I do know that there is a market out there among collectors. I belong to a glass group and we recently discussed old trade mags. I would imagine that the value would depend on the content. It's important to list what's in them so collectors would see them in a key word search. As for price, start them at cost + small profit. You might want to put one up as a trial to see what kind of response you get.

I would explore listing them doubly - in the general glass section and perhaps in a pottery site too.
And if Bauer, Fiesta, McCoy, etc. have good big helpful sections in the journals, choose one or two of those sites.
However, if the journals are more about the manufacturing of pottery and glass, perhaps the crafts sites would be better.
This IS a puzzle, isnt it?! The advice here to do a book search is a smart one.
I sold some mining and gem journals recently--tried a couple of them, and the seller was ecstatic (he was a mining engineer), so I sold him the rest of them.
