Interesting, Pal pal has all those click buttons on the top. SEND MONEY, TAKE OUT YOUR MONEY, Etc. Where is the friggin REFUND Money one?? Oh! I know where it is but do most people know where to look for it? I refunded a buyer yesterday and wasn't thinking quite right. I just simply sent them money. Score for pay pal!! more comission money for them.
That button needs to be right there along side the other buttons NOT buried at the bottom of the page. They know exactly what they are doing. Doing it but making it very vauge. I just happened to notice it today. Not that I haven't used that function before I just forgot about it, and pay pay loved it. If it was up there in lights I would have had NO problem. OPINIONS?

Next time you will not forget, The button is only good for thirty days so I guess they figure its not worth the bother to move it up top.
Do agree that it would make more sense to have it on the top, but this is after all paypal. Might be a good idea to ask damon if they can do this.
This is a great feature and it could be even better.

It was along side the other buttons in the transaction log when it was first introduced. It created total confusion, many thought they were being requested to refund. After the confusion got too much PayPal moved the refund button from along side the other buttons and placed it at the bottom of the transaction page.
Now you know the history of the location of the refund button.
Those unable to type "how do I send a refund" in the help section will just have to pay the fees on refunds.

uaru,,,,,Nah,,,,,I don't believe that one for a second. I believe making more MONEY is the reason. You say it use to be there. O.k. no poblem. How confusing could it be there any more than the other buttons? Please,,,don't get wrong.....I am not belittling you in any way. You said what you know. Thanks I am just commenting back. Thanks.
They put it out of site on purpose, MONEY,,,,,It worked this time with me, actually the buyer messed up my logical and experienced mind with their ramblings over the refund. Serves them right. They got fees taken from what I sent them. If they just had let me do, what I know very well how to do, I would have done the REFUND and not just sent them MONEY.

I failed to make my point,,,I see, that point being,,,,,Millions of people are Doing exactly what I did,,,Just sending MONEY not!!!!!! doing a REFUND!!!!!!
Because it is NOT Obvious!!!!! Pay pay is ripping off Good People for refunding......If you have any,,,,,,scrupples pay pal,,,,,do the right thing, Get it up there where it Belongs.......Actually you are cheating the buyers who were refunded and you took a chunck out of the pie anyway. it's a function button,,,,treat it as such. AND from What I have seen,,,,,,,Even when a person DOES do the REFUND button,,,,,PAY PAY keeps the original fee. If I as a seller refunds 100% because something did not work out then pay pal morally sees there was a problem and should do same.....refunds are not a pleasant task. but if the occasion arises, I Do refund 100% and pay pal keeps their commission.....CROOKED to the MAX!!!!!!
By the way,pay pal. I just took a look.I have 835 sales using your service....how many do you have Tomwii...you moron!!!!!! Get lost!!!!!

Thanks for at least believing me that the refund button was where you wanted it at one time.
The eBay Outlook Forum was littered with messages from people demanding to know why they had to issue a refund, and in a panic thinking the buyer had the same refund button on his screen. Here's one surviving thread on the issue. Refund Button Confusion
A lot of people work on reflex, and panic when it comes to money. When PayPal put that refund button on the transaction log page fingers began clicking and nerves began to twitching. If you think PayPal is going to repeat the confusion they caused when the refund button suddenly appeared in the transaction log you're mistaken. If you think PayPal's staff sat around a desk and someone looking like Dr. Evil came up with a idea to hide the refund button then go with it.

The Paypal refund button is hidden away, but I know where to find it. My complaint is that you can't make a partial refund.
