Hi:

Noticed something weird tonight.
Customer left Pos. feedback but the # didn't change.
And all of a sudden it shows I have had a Neu.
Well I never remember receiving a Neu.
So I went in and started looking for it.
I found it,was from 2 years ago! Just showed tonight.
Also along the way I noticed feedback comments are no longer there. Some from NARUed some from active. Just gone like they never wrote anything!

Any of you notice anything like this in your feedback?

yes, I noticed something similar tonight but didn't give it any real thought - although I was puzzled by it - until I saw your post. My feedback went up by one tonight to 1206, but is still showing 1205. Yesterday when I got feedback, the increase didn't show before I posted the response but showed up after I did. Strange...

Wanna hear something even funnier? My feedback climbed several numbers over the last two weeks and I didn't have any more FB show up! Luckily, they are all positive.

What was I gonna do, tell Ebay I didn't "deserve" it? Knowing them, they screw it up real good trying to fix it.

I received an email from powersellers tonight that had several links to different subjects in the powerseller portal. One of the links was my feedback and percentage which led to the page showing how feedback percentage is calculated. The link read "803(99.88% total positive)". The problem is my feedback was 804 with 99.99% positive. I thought I had received a recent neg so I went to check it out, and it was still 804 and 99.99%. They probably prepared the thing a couple of days ago, but it still caused a moment of panic.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

Well I just went in and found my # did increase by 1 as it should have.

But I still find it strange that a 2 year old Neu. just showed up tonight.

And why are some of the comments gone?

I am seeing a real lag in numbers on feedback customers post, they Pos feedback but the numbers do not move untill a few hours later, I dont really care about the numbers to tell you the truth as long as they do not mess up my auctions.

Evening All,
I should have tried to do something about this back 3 yrs ago, brand new on ebay, that was when I guess it was o.k. to give several feedback on one item as a fellow gave me a neutral, then immediately following, he send a positive and said I hope this doesn't hurt you"as I pressed the wrong button an hit neutral instead of positive" I was not too familier "with neutrals" but it was never taken off and 2 negatives that I tried in vain to get ahold of S.Trade and they do not even answer as I am paying and want to get a "mediator" as these are Truly bogus negatives. Would ebay get awfully upset if I could figure a way to get out from under the S.Trade as it is really a waste of money, esp., not even responding to correspondence. Thank you all and take care.

I'm relieved to read this thread! I noticed my feedback had gone up by one since this afternoon but the feedback comment itself wasn't there. I thought it was eerie. But wait, it was just eeebay. Are the Arabs messing with our feedback?????? Unique way to wage war.

I was browsing yesterday and looked at some items of a seller who had over 2000 feedback and it said 100% positive after their name...when I went and looked at the feedback, they actually had 2 negatives...shouldn't the percentage have been 99.99%?

Today, customers keep leaving feedbacks ... i went to check on them earlier today, and ebay said something like, 'Cannot access this feedback right now ... please try later and if problem persists contact customer servie' ...... i check back short time later and can still see my feedback piling up with nice comments and the number next to our user name goin' up .... BUT, my ... ummm ..."report card" up on right hand top, has 0's all the way across everything ... it has stayed like that all day now! .... [which is actually ok for now... it hides that wonderful Neut we got for refunding that guys $5 tobaccy item that we lost. LOL]
