Can anyone tell me about relisting fees refunding so far as the following scenario? I listed an item and when it didn't sell I relisted it with a lower price. Had it sold I could have gotten my relistng fee refunded. This I understand. When it didn't sell again, I relisted for 3rd time and lower price. I understand I am not entitled to relisting refund here. No problem. However, when I relisted this same item for what can be the "4th" time, but as a relist for the previous (3rd) newer auction posting, I thought I was entitled to a relisting refund. Can anyone tell me if I am entitled to a relisting refund under these conditions? Or is it that after the same item is listed more than 2 times there is no refunds on relistings (every other time). Thanks for any help.

You only get one refund for the scenario you described. If you want to get more than one, you would have to put the auction info into a new auction and list it as new the third time.

So what is the definitive answer? I would tend to agree with replaymedia. My 4th listing (being the 3rd relist) then should be entitled to a relisting refund if sold. But I need assurances as to what rules apply here before I relist under these same circumstances if something else doesn't sell. I don't want to lose money or go through more problems to get the refund back that I may be entitled to. I looked in the rules regarding relisting fees but didn't get definitve answers to my scenario (this problem). I want to see something in the rules that pertains to this. The most I could do I guess is list the 3rd time as a new auction as pelorus said. Any other help out there?

It also depends upon quantities listed and pricing. If the quantity was always one and the price stayed the same or at least in the same price structure, then the 4th should have been refunded upon a sale. If you changed the price so it was in a different price structure, than it would not qualify.

All I know is, I have never gotten a refund under the scenario you describe. I have seen the rule stated this way on ebay, but am too fatigued to look it up for you.
